Reimbursement Programs
Check out SQ’s reimbursement programs for steel-toe shoes, cold-weather wear, and prescription safety glasses. Use the form to submit the necessary information for reimbursement.
Program Details
Employees eligible for reimbursement programs should take advantage of utilizing them, including:
Bucks for Boots
Get up to $50 back on a single pair of steel-toe shoes every 12 months. Eligible for employees who have completed 60 days with SQ.
Important Info For Requesting Reimbursement:
- Reimbursements are permitted once every 12 months, on a rolling calendar basis, unless otherwise noted. For example, if you are reimbursed for purchases in December 2020, you will not be eligible to request reimbursement until December 2021.
- The non-taxable reimbursements will be processed following the submission of the required documentation.
- Employees must be actively employed on the date the reimbursement is made.
Pennies for Parkas
Get up to $50 back for cold-weather wear, with a receipt. The program
provides one-time reimbursement to employees in Operations and working in cold-weather areas. A receipt is required and must be dated after the employee’s date of hire.
Important Info For Requesting Reimbursement:
- Reimbursements are permitted once every 12 months, on a rolling calendar basis, unless otherwise noted. For example, if you are reimbursed for purchases in December 2020, you will not be eligible to request reimbursement until December 2021.
- The non-taxable reimbursements will be processed following the submission of the required documentation.
- Employees who have completed 30 days of employment are eligible.
- Employees must be actively employed on the date the reimbursement is made.
Savings for Specs
Get up to $50 back with proof of purchase of prescription safety glasses. Eligible for employees who have completed 60 days with SQ.
Important Info For Requesting Reimbursement:
- Reimbursements are permitted once every 12 months, on a rolling calendar basis, unless otherwise noted. For example, if you are reimbursed for purchases in December 2020, you will not be eligible to request reimbursement until December 2021.

Stratosphere Quality is hiring and we’re looking for candidates to fill multiple positions. If you are a current Stratosphere Quality employee and know someone who might be a fit, send us their details.
Applicants must put your FULL NAME on their application when they apply. For each of your referrals who are hired and completes their first 90 days with Stratosphere Quality, you will receive a bonus of $200. Conditions apply.
Shutdown Savings Form
The Shutdown Savings Program (SDS)
Stratosphere Quality understands the value of providing an alternative funding solution for periods when customers are shut down. This program is designed to allow employees to defer wages from each paycheck, save the funds in a ‘shutdown account’ and receive payouts during scheduled shutdown times in July or December.
The Shutdown Savings Program Details:
- Employees complete and sign the ‘Shutdown Savings Program’ authorization form.
- Eligible hourly positions, including QI, Team Lead, Project Supervisor, APQ, Support, or Administrative Staff can select a flat dollar amount to be deducted from each paycheck.
- The funds are held in an account and paid out during scheduled shutdown times in July
or December, or when the employee leaves the company. - Contributions made between December and July are distributed in July.
- Contributions made between July and December are distributed in December.
- Funds within the ‘Shutdown Savings’ accounts are distributed only during the scheduled payout periods and are not available at any other time.
• Locations without a scheduled shutdown can still participate in the plan. The scheduled payout dates remain the same. - Employees who are eligible for holiday pay would still receive the July 4th holiday pay.
