For our employee spotlight this month, we are pleased to shine a light on Tim Blankenship, a Project Manager in Alabama!

Tim Blankenship is originally from North Alabama and brings a solid mix of leadership experience and team-focused energy to his work. Outside of work, Tim enjoys Alabama football, reading, video games, investing, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

What Tim enjoys most in a work environment is being able to connect with his team and help them grow. He believes the more time you spend with your team, whether in a group setting or one-on-one, the better you can understand their strengths and how to help them develop.

Before joining SQ, Tim worked at First Solar in Trinity, Alabama. Before this, he was a Realty Project Manager at Walmart, overseeing projects in Texas and Oklahoma. He discovered SQ while browsing Indeed and was drawn to the company’s hands-on, people-first approach.

What stands out to Tim at SQ is the chance to work with people one-on-one and see their growth. For Tim, there is a true satisfaction in knowing he has played a role in someone else’s career development.

His advice for new Quality Inspectors is simple: pay close attention to detail and never hesitate to ask questions. As he tells his team, “The worst question is the one you don’t ask.”
