Stay Safe in the Heat

There are health effects of heat such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Some symptoms are:

• Dizziness
• Headache
• Nausea
• Weakness
• Heavy sweating
• Elevated body temperature
• Extreme fatigue

What can you do to avoid heat stress?

• Drink fluids often
• Rest on your breaks
• Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Safety Essential: Incident Reporting

When incidents occur on the job, it is imperative that we properly document these situations to keep everyone involved safe and informed.

You can access Incident Report Form with ease through Resource Center in the Solar Edge application on your phone. It can also be located on the Intranet, which can be accessed through the Employee Dashboard.

Please fill out the appropriate fields on the Incident Report and email the completed form along with work instructions to incidentreporting@stratospherequality.com by the end of the shift the incident occurred on.

Is your emergency contact up to date in ADP?

Your safety and well-being are our top priority at Stratosphere Quality. In case of an emergency, having up-to-date contact information is crucial. Please take a few minutes to review and make sure your emergency contact information is updated in ADP.

You can review and update your emergency contact using the ADP app on your phone. You will need to go to your profile and scroll down to “Emergency Contact.” From there you can review and edit the information provided.

Workplace safety is everyone’s responsibility. Watch out for yourself and your fellow co-workers.

Introducing Santos Padilla, a Project Supervisor with our Mansfield team. Santos was
born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. His father is a Korean War Veteran, and his
mother is a psychiatrist who graduated from La Pontificia University of Puerto Rico.

His family moved to the US when he was 12 years old. Santos graduated from Belford
High School and afterward attended Lorain County Community College. While
pursuing his degree, Santos juggled part-time roles as a team leader and a welder,
showcasing his versatility and leadership skills. His motivation derived from his loving
wife Bianca and their 4 beautiful children: Tania, Jaciel, Jaszel, and Jaylani.

Santos learned about Stratosphere Quality while working part-time with a partnered
staffing agency. Santos’ exceptional growth within the company was fueled by the
inspiring mentorship he received from his leadership team. Their guidance sparked his
enthusiasm to learn and advance professionally.

His ideal work environment fosters respect, honesty, unity, knowledge, and above all
else- love. Advice Santos would offer someone just joining the SQ team would be to
stay focused and do not lose sight of your goal. Hard work at Stratosphere Quality does
not go unnoticed.

If Santos had a magic wand, he would find cures for all those who suffer with medical
conditions, especially Diabetes.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Santos Padilla for sharing his inspiring journey with
us. His dedication and values enrich our team and remind us of the impact of hard work
