Thanksgiving Wishes from Stratosphere Quality
On behalf of everyone at Stratosphere Quality, we would like to extend warm Thanksgiving wishes to all our employees! Our associates in Canada celebrated their day of thanks on October 13th. We hope you all had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the company of loved ones.
In the U.S., we will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27th. As a reminder, all eligible SQ employees will receive two days off—Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th. We hope you are able to use this time to travel if needed and enjoy some well-deserved rest with friends and family.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the hard work and dedication each of you brings to Stratosphere Quality every day. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do.

Vacation Time Reminder
You’ve worked hard all year—now it’s time to recharge! Don’t forget to use your vacation hours before January 31, 2026. Any unused time over 40 hours will be paid out at a reduced rate, so make the most of your well-earned time off. Whether it’s a staycation, a getaway, or just a few days to relax, you deserve it. Your well-being matters—take the
break you’ve earned!
Employee Spotlight: Derron Magic
This month, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on one of our dedicated team members whose passion for people and community truly stands out.
Meet Derron Magic, a self-motivated individual who believes that everyone has value and a place. A devoted family man, he’s been with his wife for 15 years and is the proud father of four wonderful boys. Outside of work, he’s actively involved in his community, living out the values he brings to the workplace every day.
When asked about the kind of work environment he enjoys, he shared, “I really enjoy the loving and caring family environment where everyone feels heard and appreciated. It’s a part of everything we do. It’s also cool because with this type of environment, it’s easier to train and retain.” His commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere has made a lasting impact on his team.
Before joining SQ, he worked in a variety of roles—from cooking to working in multiple factories. His journey to SQ began when Elite Employment Agency reached out with an opportunity they believed was the perfect fit. “I’m blessed that they were right,” he says.
What keeps him motivated at SQ? “The opportunities we have. Frank Hunt and others believed in me when no one else did, and I want to repay myself and them. I’m grateful to SQ for giving me the chance to grow and learn.”
His advice to new QIs stepping into SQ: “Stay the course. Remember, you are human and do everything to the best of your ability. Als,o remember we all need help sometimes. Stay humble.”

Lulu
Meet Lulu (named after Countess Luann from RHONY)! She loves pup cups, stealing socks (and hiding them), and sleeping in. She spends her days sitting out on the balcony watching the birds. She’s incredibly social and doesn’t believe in strangers—just friends she hasn’t met yet. During walks on the trail, LuLu greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags and a heart full of affection. She is the light of her family’s lives!
