Happy (Fiscal) New Year!

Stratosphere Quality Team,

As we step into a new fiscal year, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything we accomplished together in 2024. It was a year filled with challenges—some we saw coming, others we didn’t—but through it all, you showed resilience, creativity, and a commitment to excellence that never wavered.

Despite the obstacles, we delivered outstanding service to our key Customers. We remained steady, reliable, and responsive in the face of change. That’s something we should all be proud of. Our ability to show up, solve problems, and add value is what keeps our Customers coming back—and what sets us apart in a competitive landscape.

Now, as we look ahead to this new fiscal year, it’s time to build on that momentum. Let’s keep raising the bar on how we serve and support our Customers. Every interaction is an opportunity to show that we understand their needs, that we’re listening, and that we’re willing to go above and beyond to help them succeed. Great customer support isn’t just about fixing issues—it’s about building trust and making our Customers feel like true partners in everything we do.

At the same time, we will continue to diversify and grow our business. Growth isn’t just about numbers—it’s about staying relevant, adapting to new challenges, and positioning ourselves to thrive long-term. That means exploring new markets, strengthening our capabilities, and finding fresh ways to bring value to our Customers. Innovation and curiosity will be key to our success this year.

But let’s also not forget the people and partnerships that brought us to where we are today. Supporting our current Customers with the same energy and commitment we’ve always had will remain a cornerstone of our strategy. These relationships are our foundation, and they deserve our full attention.

This year, let’s move with purpose. Let’s stay focused on execution, grounded in service, and driven by the belief that we can always do better—because we can. I believe in this team, and I believe that our best work is still ahead of us.

Here’s to a successful year ahead—one of focus, growth, and continued excellence.

Let’s get after it in 2025!

Employee Spotlight: Ian Doll

Ian Doll, Senior Account Manager | Support Center, Indianapolis, IN

Meet Ian Doll – Senior Account Manager based out of the Support Center in Fishers!

Since SQ’s founding in 2009, Ian has been a key player in its growth and long-term success. As Senior Account Manager, he brings years of industry experience, technical expertise, and a commitment to his role. When he joined the company, his son was just five years old—now he’s 21! That journey has shaped his perspective and made work-life balance a  priority throughout his career.

Originally from Indianapolis, Ian attended college for engineering and spent his college years playing competitive soccer. That natural competitive streak eventually led him to explore sales—an unexpected path that quickly became a perfect fit. He began his career in construction management and as a project manager. But once he gave sales a try, he realized how much he enjoyed the challenge and fast-paced nature of the work.

His technical background continues to be a major asset in his role. With hands-on experience and industry knowledge, he’s able to speak directly to customer needs and provide solutions that make a real impact. Over the past 15+ years, that combination of problem-solving and people skills has made him a valuable resource and trusted partner to both his team and his customers.

Invested in Growth—For Himself and the Company

What has kept Ian with the company all these years comes down to opportunity, flexibility, and fulfillment. He enjoys his role and takes pride in his work, especially when it comes to satisfying the customer. His competitive nature fuels his drive to succeed, and the company’s culture of recognizing hard work and promoting from within has kept him motivated to continue growing.

As one of the original employees at Stratosphere Quality, Ian has invested time, energy, and passion into the business. That deep connection makes him not only a dedicated team member, but also someone who cares about the well-being of Stratosphere Quality.

Advice for New Employees: Stay Flexible and Keep Moving Forward

In addition to his sales responsibilities, Ian plays an active role in training new team members in both sales and customer service. When training new employees, he emphasizes the importance of staying flexible and maintaining a mindset that embraces change.

His advice for new employees is to stay flexible, keep an open mind, and adapt to change—because no two days are ever the same. He encourages employees to keep learning, keep moving forward, and take each new challenge as an opportunity for growth.

Fun Fact: Always on the Move, But Indiana Is Home

Throughout his life, Ian has had the opportunity to live in a variety of places, including Chicago, Columbus, the East Coast, Hawaii, and even London. While in London, he had the chance to try out for a professional soccer team and ultimately played at the semi-pro level.

Despite all his adventures, Indiana remains his true home. It’s where his roots are, and it’s the place that continues to feel most like home no matter where life takes him.

Thank you, Ian, for sharing your journey with us!

Pets of the Month

We would love to see your pet, send in a picture and description to sqnewsletter@stratospherequality.com

Eldora and Speedy

I’m pleased to introduce this adorable duo – Eldora and Speedy! Eldora is a guarded 3-year-old girl who came to live with her family after being surrendered to the shelter following the birth of her babies. She loves playing with Melissa’s grandson, getting ear scratches and tummy rubs, and sleeping on her tree or hammock. Eldora enjoys a peaceful environment and is wary of loud people, being picked up, and human food. Cat food only, please! In September 2024, Eldora’s world was rocked when the CDS (Cat Distribution System) delivered Speedy under his family’s front porch at just 3 weeks old! Speedy quickly bonded with his family, and the rest is history. Now 6 months old, Speedy is a wild little guy who loves playing fetch, exploring the basement, showers, and getting into mischief. He does not take kindly to the word “no.” Eldora and Speedy have one very specific morning routine: all blinds and doors must be open before their family leaves for the day. If their mom forgets, they’ll leave her little “presents” as a gentle reminder that her tasks aren’t finished yet. Eldora’s motherly instincts have kicked in, and she’s been a great influence on Speedy—teaching him manners and keeping him (mostly) out of trouble. Thank you, Melissa, for sharing Eldora and Speedy with the team!
