Steven J. Cage is an entrepreneur who helped develop the sorting and inspecting industry beginning in 1980. Since completing a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Berry College, he has worked in the automotive and component manufacturing industry for the past 30+ years. His success is founded on supplying great customer service, good ethics, and delivering a responsive quality service, built with customers who are some of the best OEM and Tier 1 & 2 manufactures in the world.
Tom Gray, Chief Operating Officer

Tom Gray is a seasoned executive with 25+ years experience in operations, customer service, information technology and resource management. He previously held a number of management positions in the utility sector, as well as public and private organizations in the areas of field operations, client services, corporate IT and general management. Tom brings an extensive background in managing multiple workgroups supporting entrepreneurial growth strategies, efficiency and process improvement initiatives. Tom obtained his Bachelors Degree in Business from Indiana State University and Masters Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Karen M. Smith, Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer for Stratosphere Quality, Karen is responsible for all financial aspects of the business including accounting, reporting, planning, performance monitoring, treasury and analysis.
Karen has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience with extensive finance, administration and operations focus in diverse industries. Most recently she served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Brightpoint North America, a $1 billion division of a publicly traded wireless device lifecycle services company, where she was responsible for all finance, accounting, planning, acquisition, purchasing, and analysis activities. Prior to Brightpoint, Karen held various finance leadership roles at Time Warner Book Group, Redcats, USA and Marriott International.
Karen is a Certified Public Accountant and earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. She also serves on the board of directors of the Jameson Camp, a non-profit organization servicing underprivileged kids, and the local chapter of Financial Executives International.
Pattie Kuhn, Vice President, Human Resources

Pattie has more than 15 years of experience providing leadership and strategic direction while implementing human resource programs and initiatives. She was responsible
for high-impact accomplishments in recruiting, benefit design, policy/procedure writing and employee development. She has championed intra-department collaboration for
change in both non-union service and union/manufacturing environments.
Pattie received her Bachelor’s degree from Butler University and Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Business.
David Carey, Vice President, Strategic Alliances

David is a seasoned auto industry professional with 20+ years of experience in the areas of Tier One plant management, quality assurance and continuous improvement. David has worked with several key OEM’s over the past six years in the areas of sorting, rework and containment.
Kyle Coffinger, Vice President, Business Development

Kyle has 10+ years of experience selling quality related services in the automotive, medical device and military industries. He has helped develop and implement quality programs for over 20 different OEM plant locations. Kyle has outstanding experience and understanding in dealing with both domestic and transplant OEM requirements.
Tammy McEwen, Vice President, Canadian Operations

Tammy has 13+ years experience in managing operations and developing businesses within the inspection, training and consulting industry. She has worked with numerous OEM and Tier suppliers across Canada and the US to successfully develop and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency. She brings a wealth of industry experience with a focus on continually and consistently improving processes. Tammy is based out of the Greater Toronto area.
